I get Frazz delivered every day.
He kinda reminds me of Calvin of 'Calvin and Hobbes',
if he grew up

That's EXACTLY what I was doing, until I hurt my hip and now am forced into an off season. Oh well, at least I can still swim.

So....I´m a different type of animal.....after 3 years of training I did nothing from August 19th till September 18th. One month of laziness.

But man I needed that. I was feeling tired mentally from following such a strict training plan. After this little break all my passion for training and racing came back. If I hadn´t done that I bet I would have missed many training sessions and wouldn´t be so enthusiastic about the sport any more. :D

Oh yeah... there are definitely times for a break. Usually mini-breaks and single-sport breaks work for me... for example, I skipped a couple swims last week, and then this week was actually mostly looking forward to the water ;)
