I'm driving to Miami in the morning to go race. Everyone I know from Miami either went to Mississippi for our football game or is going to be partying all weekend, so I need a hotel. The hotels on the bay in downtown Miami are fairly expensive, so I looked into staying at a few cheaper "motels" kind of.....off the strip. Here's a transcript of my conversation with the Indian guy at El Eden motel:

Indian guy: Hallo?
Matt: Hi, I'm just calling for rates for a single room tomorrow night.
Indian guy: We only rent for 2 hours at a time.
Matt: .....
Indian guy: .....
Matt: you only rent 2 hours at a time?
Indian guy: Yes.
Matt: .....okay.....thanks.

I wonder if the Marriott has any oceanview rooms left....
