The BC Cancer Foundation's 2007 Tour of Courage with special guest appearances by cancer survivor and cycling legend, Lance Armstrong. This amazing weekend takes place September 21 through 23 in Vancouver - be part of this journey on a road to a World Free from Cancer.

Raise $5,000 in pledges for Cancer research, and you can even have breakfast with him.

I'm too far away to get in on it but Trifuel has several members in Vancouver.

Live Strong.

(shrugging shoulders) I could but not that fond of him. Unless you get him one on one (good luck) it would be just to see hime. Big deal, like all celebs. Anyways, the one on one would be best as you know to ask training questions. :-)

It would have been cool - imagine pulling alongside - giving him the nod and stomping the pedals - what would his response be? Probably TT my A$$ into oblivion.

I met him this year at the philidelphia livestrong challenge, when I say met I mean rode with him and 4 other guys for about a mile then he was like "alright I'm going to catch up with the next group, enjoy the rest of your ride!" *wooooosshhh*

"now I only have good days and great days."

I've done the Livestrong Ride in Portland the last 2 years, both years he and his posse have taken off a few minutes before everyone else. The first year he stuck around to give a speech afterward, but last year he crossed the finish line, rode through a security guarded fence, loaded up and took off. It's been a fun ride and I am doing it again this year, but unless you raise the money to eat with him, the chances of getting within 100 feet of him pre and post ride and within 2-3 miles of him during the ride are pretty slim.
