Has anyone ever rented race wheels before? My rear tri spoke detonated on a pot hole, and a new wheel/wheels are not in the budget at this point and I have IMFLA coming up in November.

So has anyone delt with these companies, and is it worth it?

ANy input would be appreciated!

Thanks
Syd

Racedaywheels.com worked well for me!

Race Day Wheels.com is great. I used them for the Florida 70.3 earlier this year and it went much smoother than I could have pictured. Marc (the owner) is a real class act also.

I used Marc for Gulf Coast and found the whole experience to be easy and well worth it.

If you are having the wheels mailed to you (vs. picking them up at the race) you will have to have enough mechanical skill to put your cassette on the rented wheels.
