I am trying to get a basic layout done for racing next year and there are a couple HIM's that I would like to do.

1) Is it possible to do 3 in one season without overdoing it? I would think so but I only have done one and wanted to get advice from someone who has done multiple HIM's.

2)Is 4 weeks enough time to recover and prepare between HIM's?

Thanks in advance

I do 2 HIM's 4 weeks apart with the last one about 4 weeks out from an IM. So, that should be plenty of time to recover between races.

Well, I plan to do 2 w/in 3 weeks(Pacific Crest and Lake Stevens) next summe rso I would think a 3rd later in the season would not be all that difficult. They all just shouldn't be your "A" race.

If you're doing Pacific Crest next year, I'll see you there.

I was planning on trying to do Lake Stevens, but I have alot of freinds who live in Boise and I think I might try the new 70.3 Boise course out.

Yup :) . For me Lk. Stevens is close enough that I can stay at home and just drive up the morning of the race.
