I am trying to put together a good off season training schedule, but with the help of "The Bible" I am getting more confused.
Is it just me or is there too many different workouts to fit into a week??
hopefully I can come up with something by spring.
Have you tried any 2-a-day things? Like a run in the morning, swim in the evening? Which workouts are you having trouble fitting?
I am getting everything into the week, I guess that I am just overwhelmed by all of the varying workout lenthgs/intensities mixed in with strength training and recovery.
ahh... well, just think of it this way: at least it doesn't seem repetative or boring yet ;)
ha, I love the repetitiveness of training... it is what keeps me sane.
whew... just finished 8.5 miles in 1:19:44... now it's dinnertime!
as you can see, I have been a member for a year, but I have just been using the site for the training log.
I figured it was about time to spread my forum charm to this corner of the internet.
Welcome to the party. See you at IMWI '09. Planning that for my first full iron as well. Was considering going for '08, but frankly dont have the cash to lay down on it right now.

Just remember to be there next year on monday morning waiting in line.

But I am getting a lot more serious about it!
I have done a handful on sprints and completed my first Oly this past weekend, sept 8.
I am working on doing the Spirit of Racine HIM next July, then the Milwaukee Lake front Marathon in Oct '08, then IMWI '09.
This is my tentative plan.
