New Ironman 70.3 Race Coming to Boise, Idaho

This series continues to grow. I wonder how many races they will have when they are done expanding... We should see another announcement soon for another race in North America, this time in the SE.

Thanks for the info, that is great to know. I might have to try that one out this upcoming year.

Is this too close to Coeur d'Alene (June 22nd). I'm thinking maybe.

I know a lot of people have used the Oceanside 70.3 as a tune up for IMAZ -- but I know there is debate about if it is too close and it is about the same (I'm sure part of it will be personal and how your body reacts). 5 weeks out is really good for me.

Thanks for the post. I might sign up for this one...(need to negotiate next year's vacation time with the family). Sign up starts this Saturday. i wonder how fast it will fill? Do other 70.3 races fill quickly like the IM's?

I have heard that the 70.3 races don't fill as quickly as the fulls. I am pretty sure that you would at least have a few days if not weeks to sign up for it. However, I could be mistaken.

Personally I hope that it takes a little while to fill. I am heading out of town with my wife this weekend and won't be able to get to a computer until Sunday night. So I hope they don't fill up quickly.

I'm pretty sure you'll have plenty of time to get in compared to IMs since it's new and a half :)

I'm officially signed up, I hope to see some Trifuelers there.

Also this is my first time signing up through Active.com, why do they want your life story when you are just signing up for a race?

It was about $15. I always squabbled at the local online races having a $3 processing fee for registering online.

$15 to sign up, what a crock.
