I'm coming back
Goodluck at the Columbus Marathon!
oooh Boston... best of luck :)
cool, glad to have you back.
Welcome Back
Hey Sling..welcome back! Home should be warm..nurturing...a place to learn and grow....If you risk a flame job every time you make a comment...how productive is that? I look around and somtimes lurk at that other SiTe...much better here!

Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional.
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. It's good to be back!
Speed hurts; how fast do you want to go?
Yes, Trifuel is the kinder gentler Tri-Site --- best part is people here try to help each other rather than the tear downs at the 'other' site.
Glad to have you back!

I work in politics, where the saying goes, if you want a friend get a dog!
"Kinder and gentler" is a nice reprieve :) .

Huh - never even checked out their forums. I barely spend any time on that site.

Right, Time better spent here! :D

Plus I think the forum here is much easier to navigate. Maybe it's just that it's what I know and therefore its familiarity makes me biased. I still think it's the former though.

There's more information there if you knwo where to look for it. While many posters on the forums are punks, there is a lot of good people there, too. The fit and geometry articles from Dan are more than enough reason to stick your head in over there, even if you avoid the forum.
While no one has gone into yet, I would strongly suggest resisting the urge to bash- even just a little bit. They dont bash this site (saving it for tri newbies) and I would hate to see that happen. So lets keep comments positive :D and appreciate all of our differences as variety!
Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.
I lurk over there (there is good info) and post here. I feel a warm comraderie here and know I am among friends.
I'll 2nd triguy and gus -- I am on both forums, and both have great info and great people. However, I'm just not as comfortable posting over there, so here feels more like home.
good on your marathon and hope you're in boston in april!
yeah ST has a lot of smart people but it's not a friendly place.

I used to come here a lot, but then I started going to that other SiTe, if you catch my drift.
But I really got sick of all the nastiness and bullying over there; I just don't think they represent what this sports all about - none of the triathletes I know are like that, anyway.
Plus, I think it's dominated by a bunch of tri-coaches dissing each other over their training methods and mooching for clients.
But I'm back - you guys are nicer and more informative - for the most part ;)
Next race - Columbus Marathon ~ Boston or Bust!
