i am looking into buying swim paddles, and noticed there are a lot of different types and sizes, and i am unsure which type to get

i can swim for a long time, but i find it very hard to go fast, so i am not sure what level of swimmer i could be considered

i went about 37 minutes for 1.2 miles in open water for a him

thanks in advance :)

My coach had me buy two sizes. The small for routine paddle use to build strength and the extra large to work on rotation.

Obviously, the small ones should grab more water than your hand so you work harder with each stroke. The big ones should be too hard to pull with just your shoulders so you must pull correctly with the assist of your body roll.

Good luck.

my only advise it to work it into your swimming slowly. like only 4 or 6 laps per session at first becasue they will make you hurt like a Noob the next day!!

dont get bitter, get better
