400 meter interval's...what fun!
12 x 400 at 1:16, eh? You've got some WHEELS, man.
That was the average and I accidently did 13! It was hard, you really have to focus on the last 5 and gut it out.

Hey Buddy:
You're making me jealous!
I'm tapering for a race and trying to ward of some leftover ITBS. I can't wait to get back to doing quarters!
Well done, keep it up!

You're actually making me miss track workouts, as sick as that may be :p ...probably the old track runner in me itching to get out.
Nice workout as well :)

You should come do come do track workouts with some of us younger, fast-twitch types. We've been doing repeat K's off the bike lately. We'll be doing 4 x 10 min bike followed by 5 x 1000m at 3:20 on Tuesday if you want to fly out! ;)

Not fast enough.

Not! Well, it was ok, a little tough after a 40K time trial on the CompuTrainer the day before, but my coach is a bit of a sadist clearly. So here's a good speed workout:
WU- 800 meters
12x400 meters below 1:20 w/ 200 meter recovery walk/jog
CD- 800 meters
I managed to avaerage 1:16/400m and my average max HR was 174. The highest I got my HR was 177 and considering my max is 181, I thought that was pretty good. This is my second track interval work out in as many weeks and I have really noticed an overall improvement in my long run pace and turnover, which had been sorely lacking of late. Speed works.
