OT: I own a black cat. OK, 95% black but close enough. The other week he escaped from our house and I found myself chasing him through a neighbor's yard. I caught him as he was walking under a ladder. I guess when you're a black cat, the other superstitions don't matter much to you.

Man you're lucky, glad you didn't get hurt. A chow got me yesterday, the damn thing timed it perfect and the next thing I knew I was in a field. Must be a bad week with animals. Best of luck with your race.

Dang cat!
Was doing an easy SCR ride - one of last bike sessions before IMWI, and a cat shoots out from some brush and plows into my rear wheel. Luckily he hit it low, so didn't get caught up in the blades - I ride on HED-3's (tri-blade) - Phew! So I got off pretty lucky.
Oh, he was dazed but ran off.
