That's actually a good story - made me laugh. At least you took the time and creativity to come up with a name - unlike my lazy self who used his first name and an old zip code.

I think the best newbie move ive made was showing up to my first race sans-wetsuit. I never even thought of the idea of wearing one. The water was 58 degees. So coooooold. I was pretty much blue until halfway through the bike.

Ok, I have to confess... When I first signed onto trifuel and had to pick a username, I searched into mythology for some great sounding name that would inspire me. Athena, goddess of war, wisdom -- Hmmm, how lovely. The war part, I thought, would help inspire to stay strong and perservere as I begin my journey of triathlon pursuits. Purrfect! I'll go with Athena.
Little did I know that Athena meant something different in the world of triathlon. :confused: Now that I've poked around the world of triathlon a wee bit more, I've learned that I don't measure up. But oh well, I'll keep my moniker anyway. I'll carry it with pride!
