Have any of you used this plan and if so, did you like it?

I've read through it and it seems like a nice option for the self coached athlete. I wouldn't mind some input though. I have other options through the Joe Friel books, but I like how this one is broken down.

I used that plan a basic outline for my IM but I did modify it with some help from an experienced IMer. We added a lot more biking and cut back a little on the running. My friend thought the plan was a little light on biking. He thinks you can never have too much bike fitness going into an IM and I agree.

I used this plan as a rough build guide going into a long course triathlon this spring (mostly cause they had the bike workouts designed for the trainer, which I was stuck on). I found it was pretty good, with enough recovery built in generally. I would agree though that if you were going for the full IM more time on the bike particularly in the pre-season phase couldn't hurt.

Toni,
My wife used it for her first IM and went 10:49. It works. Mike has been doing tris a long time. You can trust this program ; ) If you put in the work you will be rewarded.

thanks for the input all!

I'll compare it to the Friel books and see if there is a difference in the amount of biking.
