Adventurous/Fun Events
I know there is an Antarctica Marathon. It's probably pretty expensive, but is certainly sounds like something that I would like to do... "The World's Southernmost Marathon".

There is a Hung Over Running race (10K) in MI. Everyone drinks the same amount of drinks the night before at the event party. Race is next morning at 8:00 am.

Ok, so now that I've checked off the "Ironman" box on my things to do in my life I'm looking for some fun races to do for the remainder of this and next year.
Though Xterra Saipan and the Singapore 70.3 sound like a lot of fun, I'm just wondering about other things out there that aren't as popular/well known....100mile mountain bike rides through the desert, Triathlons in Cuba, Marathons in Iceland, wheelbarrow races in Arkansas, etc.
Suggestions for off-the-beaten path adventures?
