I have been using the Sugoi Turbo Tri Short and really liked the fit and the fleece chamois ...of course they changed the design to a pad with a seam right where it shouldnt be ...does anyone have an idea where I can find a tri short with a fleece chamois ??????

Check out DeSoto -- good stuff, I believe a fleece pad, and a great return policy if you don't end up liking them.

I have used Orca and Pearl and I find the Pearl's to last a lot longer than the Orca's.

I've worn all the following. I believe all the basic versions have fleece chamois.

De Soto - Nice solid shorts, last a long time. They are the only brand to currently make 4 pocket version also the only brand to have no leg grippers. (US Company)
Zoot - Good quality shorts (US Company)
Orca - Nice styling. Tight around the thighs. (New Zealand Company)
2XU - New company and styling, I like the smooth leg grippers on this one. (Australian Company)

I like the PI ones, too... but they are not a fleece chamois.

I believe some of the Louis Garneau also have no grippers and a fleece pad. I'm not a big fan of them though (as I tend to prefer grippers).

An issues with the pockets in the water and creating drag?
