Yeah Boy!!! Can't believe how easy that felt. This is my 3rd year of doing Tri's and I finally did an Olympic. I am setting a goal next year for a Half Ironman. Thanks for everyone's help!!!

The times weren't out yet but I finished under 3 hours and that was my goal.

Way to go. I love seeing these forums after a weekend to find out that more people achieve goals like nyfan.

I don't need to get faster, I just need to get older!

It felt great to finish; the tapering off of training really helped a lot. My legs felt strong..

The swim was good, first time I ever used a wetsuit (boy that makes a huge difference).

The bike was good the only thing I need to do is get some clip-on aero bars or upgrade my Specialized Allez.

And the run felt so smooth; I could have gone without the 90+degree weather and humidity.

I am going to try the half ironman next year...

sounds like a great overall day. yea, wetsuits are like your own personal flotation device and make the swim so-o-o-o much easier.

keep up the good work and start looking for that half, some of them fill up quickly.

It is July 1st, 2008. Is there any Half Ironman Workout Programs that I can use?
-Thanks
