Foot injury
Star posted 1 year ago.
Though I've not had problems with my pinky toe, when I've had foot issues I:
1. Use ice for 10 minutes then heat 10 minutes; repeat for an hour at least once a day
2. Use a foot roller or a tennis ball to massage the muscles of the foot
3. Check for trigger points in the foot...the pain may be referred from another muscle (http://www.triggerpointbook.com/index.html)
Hope that helps!

I have been sidelined (for what it seems it's going to be almost a week now) because of a foot injury.
One day, afetr my mid-day nap, I woke up terrible foot pain. I located (with the help of some anatomical diagrams of feet) the pain to be around the outermost (pinky toe) metatarsals. Curiously, it only hurts when I put my weight on it (when transferring my weight from the heel to the front of the foot while walking) and if I walk (or stand) only on my heels or only on the forth-most part of my foot it doesnt hurt. Also, it barely hurst when I walk without sheos on.
Can anybod help me and gudie me to some tips and/or remedys on how to deal with this?
Thank you.
