Only a newbie....

...would realize a week and a half out from their first sprint race that the training program they've been religiously following for the past three months was for an olympic distance.

I was starting to think that the distances were a bit excessive for sprint training, even if it was an 'intermediate' program. So then I read the little writing at the bottom of the page....
I figure this is good news though, and a good head start in the race....Just wanted to share my :D chuckles with you guys!!

I have a fondness for those moments. :) Thankfully they don't happen all that often. Makes for a good laugh!

At least you'll be well prepared and you may end up smoking the pack! Fortunate mistake??

At least you did it that way, even by accident. Would be a little nerve racking if you had been training for an olympic but had been doing a sprint program.

Based on some of the things I've done, and some of the stories floating around this place, if that's your newbie mistake you're way ahead of most of us.

Roger that!! If only a few of my mistakes were on the positive side I would be a faster man!
