My wife and I are up here. This is such a great place. The town is so supportive. You have to sign up for it. DO IT! This is the kind of race that you could come back to and do every year. The weather is great too.
My wife is racing and I am training and spectating (IM Sherpa). One day I might do this race too. My wife plans on doing it every year.

We are signing up for next year on Saturday. Not sure if we will do it, but have some time to decide :)

oh and you simply get a number to go on line and register with Active.com. You have a couple of weeks from Monday to REALLY decide. I would just do it silly.

lol :o I'm just not sure if I'm ready for it or not. Earlier this week a friend asked me if I was going to sign up while I was at IMC and it was the first time where my reaction wasn't "Maybe in a year or so". Instead, I kind of pondered it and got a little excited.
So I'm still pondering. And I love Penticton! Like the Sandman (Rob) said, the community is so supportive. I've done two half mary's there and volunteered at IMC twice before. It's definitely where I want to lose my IM virginity. Just gotta figure out if now is the time or not. (rolleyes)

Signing up is a great motivator to get ready so that you will be able to do it. And we'll be here to help you along. ... Or push you into signing up. ;)
Seriously, I think that you could do it. But it is a big commitment of time etc. Good to think it through.

HELLO , no one is ready when they sign up !!!! Just sign up. You have a year to train. Worse case you decide you arent ready and get some of your money back. But, that will not happen. You will train and be ready. I absoluetly LOVE that race, clearly as I am doing it again and did not sign up for CDA.

I should be asleep right now before I go into work tonight at 7pm and but I can't stop thinking about it, which has caused insomnia. I think the the decision's been made. :)

Yup, I think I'll finalize my registration after Sunday. I have a HIM Sunday in California and will signup after that (short of me getting runover by a school bus).
