Lake Stevens 70.3
I did it this year and thouroughly enjoyed it. Positives: The race was very well organized, perfect weather(although i hear last year was deadly hot), water temperature was perfect(70s) and very clear, they were giving away spots to clearwater. Negatives: the course is more hilly than pac crest's course. I'm planning on doing it again next year. I'm in beaverton, we should go for a ride sometime.
I too did LS 70.3 this year. I also enjoyed it alot. Decent amount of support. Prepare for hills on the bike... not brutal... but definitely hilly. Weather was great. The double loops make the event very spectator friendly (if that matters to you). I didn't do PC so I can't compare but I will be doing Lake Stevens next year.
Ouch, My everything!

Has anyone done the half iron at Lake Stevens in Washington. I am trying to get a head start on planning next years races and would like to get feedback. I did Pacific Crest this year and had a great time but these races are typically a week or two apart. I am debating between doing a different event or going back because I liked Pacific Crest so much. Any feedback would be great.
