Bought an ironman watch a few years ago. The plasticised strap has split so I'm trying to replace it. Of course the watch I chose does not have a typical strap and can't be found on any store display. Snooping the net I discovered the model is a 5C661 but that doesn't help much. I'm really going to resent having to replace the whole watch because of a broken strap but that's what it's looking like.

I know it's a long shot but I thought I'd ask if any of you know where I might be able to get one. An example of my watch is pictured here:

I've got a velcro watch band that I've been transferring from watch to watch for years as I flood them on dives or whatever. One watch band for something like nine years.

I use the same kind of watch and generally at the first sign of issues I just give it to salvation army if they want it and get a new one.

That's why I go out of my way to buy the watches with the velcro and fabric bands. Sadly, Sport Authority no longer stocks the amount of Freestyle products they used too- their watch bands were bombproof and couldnt be torn off accidently- double sided velcro straps.

Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.

You can try here or here. If you haven't already, Target is one of the larger carriers and you may be able to find something there.

There's a site I used to use for my 12+ year old Timex. I'm not finding it on a simple search, but I'll see if I can dredge up anything when I get home.
