I have been doing light training for the last week or so after being off for a month from a bad crash.
Today was my first crack at a long run and it did not go well. 9 miles in about 1:20. Obviously some of that was walking.
I know some of you have gone through recoveries before and I am wondering what did your training schedules look like to a) not get re injured and b) get back up too my usual mileage in a reasonable time.
I don't have too much trouble swallowing my pride and taking things slow I just don't know how to build my weeks safely.
