Morning After Pill for swimming in Giardia Infested Lake?

nothing- BUT the chances of you getting Giardia are pretty slim. ALL the lakes down here are dodgy, and I havent gotten seriously sick yet. My stomach wasnt happy after this last race, but it passed after a day.
Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.

Human infection is conventionally treated with metronidazole or tinidazole (which is usually sold under the brand names Fasigyn and Tindamax). One of the most common alternative treatments is berberine sulfate (found in oregon grape root, goldenseal, yellowroot, and various other plants).
I would go find some oregon grape root and chow down.
Has anyone heard of anything you can take or do to prevent getting giardia after taking a couple of bad gulps in a dodgy lake?
