Several community leaders (runners, cyclists, etc.) are wanting to put together a full-scale tri in Northern CA (above Sacramento). I have seen some great articles at slowtwitch and elsewhere, but do you have any other advice, resources, contacts, etc. we can draw from? It's been talked about for years and we know we can get some major sponsors and lots of people behind it (we also have a huge tri-crowd that travel elsewhere to compete).
