Hi everyone,

I am in the market to buy some race wheels. I need some feedback on some wheels. I am looking at Hed 3 Carbon, Zipp 606, Flashpoint 60 mm, and Hed Jet.

Any feelings?

Thanks

FWIW I can comment on the Jets. I have the 60 front and 90 rear and am happy with them so far. For the money they seem to be a great wheel.

I have the HED-3's - Great wheels - very durable - do all my training rides on them as well.

You need to really consider a set of Planet X deep rim wheels or the disc. They are made by the guy over at wheelbuilder.com who is one of the best in the business and they are absolutely top notch wheels at a price much more reasonable than either HED or Zipp. No reason to pay big money for the "brand" name. Save some cash, ride a superior wheel, and look good doing it. Planet X all the way!

I ride the 606s and absolutely love them. They are awfully pricey compared to the others and i dont think the added benefit is worth an extra 1K. I found mine on ebay for 1200 brand new.

Love the HED-3C's, I use these as my main Race Wheels, although I do have a Renn 575 I use when it's not too windy.
