Wisdom tetth
Take it slow and easy, mine were an easy 5 min extraction with minimal pain and drugs, but I still couldn't eat solids for a good 3 days, so I felt a little weak when I did finally start to move around. The other thing I encountered, I think it was 4 days later I tried to go running and I experience a bit pulsing or throbbing underneath the stitches in my gums, just a feeling of a lot of blood flow through the area, so I took it easy and had no problems.
Same here..pulseing and throbbing...even for or five days off you won't lose fitness...get out for a few walks or ride the trainer easy if you have to do something...Even though it's dental...it's still surgery.

i would suggest taking it easy for as long as possible. i had dry socket and that is the worst pain i have ever been in, ever. you do not want to dislodge the clot and wake up at 3 am crying. my suggestion is at least 5 days off.
I think that I remember bouncing back pretty quickly after I got mine out... I can't remember what my instructions were, but I was back to normal quickly. Stopped taking pain meds after that night, started eating regular food soon after...
I would say just go by feel. When I got mine out I never even got the pain pill prescription filled, ate chili that night and steak the next day. My younger brother had a rougher time, was pretty well out of commission for 4 days or so. Play it by ear, taking an extra day off will be less detrimental than getting dry socket.

Does anyone have an suggestions for getting back in the roll of things after you get your wisdom teeth out? I just got mine out yesterday. I've been trying to just relax, sleep, watch movies and not put too much stress on myself.
I can't eat any solids until Monday, and right now, I'm able to eat some pudding and drink some gatorade. I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas which might help me get back on my feet?
