I have heard some very good things about it (although I haven't done it myself). There are some race reports for it on another blogging site I use, but it's down right now (I must be bad luck for blog sites today). Basically I keep hearing that it is very well run, and that the bike course is the hardest EVAR!

I heard the same about the bike course. I absolutely love the desert though and thought it might be a good alternative to the more expensive IM Arizona.

huh I can't find her older race report on it... basically she LOVED the bike course, even though she didn't finish in the cut off time. She went back and did the race again (2005 and 2006) and has nothing but good to say about it and the organizers, and encourages people to try it if looking for a great experience during an irondistance.

Has anyone here done the Silverman Triathlon in Nevada? I was sent a video on it the other day and looks very challenging. I am lining up my next iron distance event for next year and wanted to get some race reports if I could.
