Slow day at the office and with IMUSA out of the way we're next, so I was wondering how everyone was doing.

I've been doing alot of biking over the last few weeks. 103 last saturday, 112 two weeks before on saturday (had a race the saturday in between but still got a 3 hr ride in afterwards). Also a couple of 2 hour bikes during each week. Lots and lots of hills. 140 miler coming up this saturday.

Best ride yet was last weekends 103. Finally got the nutrition down a little better and averaged 18.5 mph with a 1 hour easy warmup and half hour cool down as part of the ride and about 6,500 feet of climbing. Best news was my avg HR was down 7 bpm to top of zone 1 for that ride vs my 112 mile ride two weeks earlier (although that had a monster hill at 40 miles and I had nutrition issues).

Long runs have been getting better too. Last weekend did 15 miles at 8 min/mile pace again averaging in upper zone 1 for the HR. All my long runs are on Sundays after long rides on Satrudays so I'm getting used to running on tired worn out legs!

The swim is the swim. Nothing special there. I'm kind of in maintenance mode and have only been doing 2 swims a week for several weeks now. I did a 28:40 for my last HIM 3 weeks ago so I'm not too worried about the IMWI swim as I should be right around an hour (hopefully) without too much trouble/exertion.

Hope everyone else's training is going good too!

Sounds like you are ready to crush it!

Tho IMKY is next up - then IMWI, I believe.

Then again we are only 46 days out.

My training is on target - and best thing is that this year none of the nagging injuries like I had last year getting ready for IMWI. Foolishly did 2 early marathons. No visits to the Dr or PT!
Did my last race race prior to the IM this past weekend (Spirit of Racine HIM) and that went okay, so that was a good benchmark for where my fitness is.

Doing the IMWI full course on 04-Aug with TriWi.

Hope everyone is training smart!
