Womens Tri Clothing
Pockets on the back aren't unusual unless she's looking for just a sports-bra type top. Comfort is obviously key, but anything by TYR, Zoot, 2XU, or any of the other common brands should do the trick.

Tell her to check out She Beest or Terry online - they have clothing specifically for women (mostly cycling though). Anyway, I either just swin in tri shorts and a sports bra top (dark color) or my club jersey. If I just use the bra, I'll throw a tank on for the bike, then have the option of keeping it on or not for the run. Just remember, it's almost IMPOSSIBLE to get a jersey or any other tight fitting top on in T1 when you're all wet  .

Yeah start with brands you like, and look at their women's stuff. The tri top pockets are supposed to be tight enough to not be horrible for the swim.

That was one of her concerns, was the pockets creating drag in the water. Thanks for your advice everyone. Obviously I am completely clueless here.
I do feel a bit, but not a lot. This last weekend I raced in one of the sports bra style tops (the kind with a little length to it) and I found it really comfy. Something like that would have no drag.

Eureka! We found one! Thanks everyone for your advice.
Guys clothes are so much easier to shop for!

OK, I may get a collective "Duh" from you all after this statement but here it goes...mens race clothing and womens race clothing is different. Having said that here is my problem. My wife is doing her first tri in 4 weeks and is looking for a two piece outfit that she can swim bike and run in. It is a non wetsuit event so the material of the top has to be considered. We went to our pitiful local tri shop and all of the tops of course had the pockets on the back. Being a guy I have never had to worry about any of this.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Clothing type, brand, where to purchase? Thank you everybody.
