Yes. It'll wear your brake pads more evenly and put less stress on your wheel. The correct way to adjust it is to use that small allen bolt on top of the caliper (it's only like 2 or 3mm....really small), but I'm usually pretty lazy and just force it around the anchor bolt.

Cool. I'll make that adjustment when I get home tonight.
I just noticed that when I apply the brakes, my front wheel was deflecting ~3 mm, and the rear appears to deflect about 1 mm. Is anyone careful to make sure that there is absolutely zero rim deflection?
