...hello. Completely new to tri, but decided last year to start training this year after I finally admitted to myself that I was tired of doing the monotonous weight training/running thing.

I've recently learned to swim (for distance), and even more recently, bought a bike. Unfortunately, in May I locked the front wheel and took a hard header into a curb, which took me out of action for a couple months as well as $1000 from my bank account for bike repairs - not sure which hurt more.

New bike frame and nearly healed, I'm finally starting to train again. Looking forward to enjoying Trifuel.

Gad to see more Bay area people on here.

Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.

I guess we'll be seeing at some of the races, then. I'm in the bay area every couple weekends. I'm the one in orange and blue who gets lost at half the races :D

Orange is easy to spot down here, but I'd hate to try to pick you out in your part of town.
