Figured I would resurrect an old favorite!

Me- 1:45 ride w/ :35 of Friel's F1. Had to sub a long exposed straightway with headwind and LOW gearing for the hills  Still hurts plenty, though!

Pewaukee Sprint tri (.25/15.5/5k--hilly). 1:22:47, which beat my time by 3+ minutes from last year. I don't know my splits yet.

Well, first I watched stage 8: Le Grand Bournand - Tignes.

then I rode 100km, including climbing Silver Star Mountain

- 22kms of climbing in blazing Okanagan sunshine air temp about 35 Celsius or 94 F.

as I rode under the "Welcome" bridge atop the climb I raised both arms in a winner's salute :) like this:

Did a sprint tri with my girls as a relay. I did the swim, but rode and ran with each of my girls on their leg. Had my daughter that did the bike run the last 50 yds with us so we all crossed the line together.
After a mega-celebration breakfast - did a 2 hour ride easy first hour, hard second hour.

Awesome! That is so exciting!!! I remember doing my first part of tri like that with my dad 9 or 10 years ago! I did the swim and my dad did the bike and run... My sister did the swim for another team where one of my friend's parents did the bike and run (I think I was 11 and she was 8 at the time). We had so much fun beating all the old people in the 'combat swim'. I think the next year I swam, dad biked, and my sister ran (I didn't like running races until about 4 years ago). We got a bunch of the other swim team families to put together teams...

That's very cool, RV. Are the kids planning to do any solo races now?

Sorry I didn't see you there--I forgot you were racing!

No on the solo - but they do want to do more relays. :)

That race has gotten huge!
Have a good race?

Yes -- The weather was perfect and I shaved some time off all 3 legs & transitions compared to last year.

You shaved your legs?
Oh shaved off time - almost thought you posted this on the wrong thread! ;)
Nice job picking up time across the board.

30 minutes on the treadmill. Then 30 minutes on the exercise bike, frustrated that the pool was closed.
