Tri Goggles
I tried googling on that and really found the only refernce to be on eBay for "TYR RaceFlex Triathlon Goggles"
Googling for goggles :)
Did not see that on the TYR site??? They do have the raceflex goggles - just nothing specifying triathlon directly.

Dunno what they are. I do know that some companies (Aquasphere comes to mind) market goggles that have wider fields of vision than your usual pair. These come in handy during a tri for anticipating where the next kick to the face might be coming from.
I haven't heard of something special for tri goggles... other than to be careful with the swedish goggles in a tri since the lack of padding around the eyes means it really hurts when you get hit or kicked:rolleyes:

swedes will give you a nasty pair of black eyes if you get kicked in the face. i try to avoid this by being in front of everyone in the swim :)
i dont think that having a wider field of vision would help too much. personally i am too concentrated on swimming and not worrying about the people around me as much. i would find a pair of goggles that fit you well and are comfortable and hang on to them. i have been with the same pair of swedes for at least 5 years and have no plans on changing.
I have a pair of aquasphere, clear googles. They seem fine. I saw an advertisement for Barracuda goggles. Michellie Jones uses them. If i need a pair of tinted ones, think I will buy these next. Either "ultimate mirror coated," or "predator."

triathlon goggles? what are they? why are they better than regular goggles?
