It's rained here in south Texas pretty much for the past couple of weeks. So today, I needed to run. With the rain pouring, I head over to the gym and jog on the tread mill for about 30 minutes (in addition to some weights). As soon as i leave the gym, the sun is out and the road drying. I just can't get a break! argh

So, what's wrong with running in the rain? Rain running, as long as there's no thunder and lightening is one of my fav things. It keeps you cool, you get to splash thru puddles and passers-by look at you like your nuts. What's not to like?

C'mon get wet the next time it rains, you won't melt.

Did it make you grab the bike and get a ride in? :)

Hey, I would love some rain right now. The past 4 days, the temperatures have gotten to 108, 110, 107, and today it was 105. Talk about a hot bike ride and swim. I got it in, but it wasn't too fun to workout in.

You must appreciate what you got I guess.

I agree. It has been thunder storming around here the past several days. I've missed a good amount of workout time because of it. Today I managed to get a good bike in, and with any luck will manage a run this evening.
