Massage probably. If you can find an active release specialist, that would probably be your best bet....it takes less recovery time than other massages. In fact, my therapist has worked at ironman races and given that type of massage to people between the bike and run to fix them up. I get it done all the time, and you really can work hard right afterwards instead of having to wait.
If you can't find an active release person, another type of massage will help, too. Getting a massage before a race will actually slow most people down a little bit, but it's better than getting hurt. Make sure to stretch really well right after the massage, again tonight, before the race, and again after.

well i have my first tri tomorrow its a sprint and my groin has been bothering me. i took the past few days off and it still hurts. tomorrow is the race. im gonna do it no matter what but u guys have any advice on how to make it feel a little better?
