thanks guys! :) I love that it's a middle of the week day off!!

When I was growing up I thought the fireworks were for me as my birthday is close. It's still one of my favorite holidays, even though someone once told me they aren't really just in my honor.

I find it interesting our Founding Fathers were essentially signing their death sentences when they signed the Declaration. At the time it appeared almost certain the colonies would lose big time to England. Our Founders had some courage.

I have to thank all of the men and women before me that served and died for us to be able to celebrate this. Thank you fellow airmen, soldiers, sailors, and marines.
