Hi there. Any tips on how to get balanced in T1? I have been practicing transitions this week, and my biggest problem is I can't seem to get steady enough on my feet to wipe them off and grab my bike stuff without nearly topping over once or twice. I have the same problem just putting on flip flops after a long swim at the pool. Anyone else get a bit wobbly?

kick hard the last 50-100m of the swim to move the blood into your legs before you get out.

I had this exact same problem. If you kick hard the last bit of the swim it really helps. In the two events that I have done this, I have had almost no dizziness in T1. It was explained to me that when you are in the water, you are horizontal for a lond period of time, then you quickly exit the water and stand up and start to run. It is sort of like when you stand up to quickly when you are laying on a couch. So try kicking hard near the end and it will ge the blood flowing throughout your whole body, especially your legs.

Great! Thanks for the input. Good to know I'm not just uncoordinated.
