I just wanted to share the link to this running program I have been using. It has been the single best thing I have done to improve my running which includes going to camps, working with a coach, etc. As a triathlete this program works great because it calls for alot of cross training which is what triathlon is all about.

I started this program last off season and the results are realing starting to show. I set a PR at the Half Marathon distance earlier this year by 15 minutes and my triathlon run times have also improved (of course not as dramatically but it has been noticeable).

The bottom line is if you feel "stuck" and are looking for something to jump start your running give the Furman Running Program a try. The key is to really follow the program closely and the most important part of the program is intensity so if you have trouble running hard then this would not be the program for you but otherwise give it a try.

If anyone else has used this program please let me know if it worked for you!

Its the saem program/premise that Runners world uses for its Run less for more program. Fits nicely in tri training. My colleague used it successfully to run his first half mary last week. His previous longest run was 10k.
