Yesterday my wife and I both registered for the CCT. We have never done this race previously but did just complete the Patriot Half Iron July 1st. The Patriot bike course includes much of the
CCT bike course. You are in for a treat. Race management was excellent. All the major intersections were controlled by police, the bike course has no hills of any consequence and the road surface is counter-top smooth.
The run is a loop and others I know say it is flat.
I did not count the pre-registrations but suspect that the race will be full. The Patriot Half was a new race and reached the 500 max.
