Are you Endurable?
Thanks. Not as of yet on the blog import. Right now the blog tool is pretty basic so not sure how many are going to want to use to replace their current blog vs. use it as a more general activity blog. If the demand is high for an import, then I'll look into setting something up.
Sounds cool already requested an invite.
Hyperactive Trifueler!!!! (I refuse to let the status go :p)
Really nice...I loved the site

great site, I can't wait to get home and add all my info. will be nice to have my blog along side everything else.

Cool. glad you guys like it.
Wanted to create something that got back to the 'fun' aspect of staying in shape and connecting/training with friends. So much easier tracking what friends are doing through the simple posts.
I'm already there. Up to know I've loved it! Good job! Grats!

I want to add Tikal as a friend.. but when I click on his picture on the home page to go to his individual page, I get an error. Is it an issue with the space in his user name?
Oh and something I'd love to see: a list of people who have me listed as a friend (I saw an announcement that I had been added by someone, but I was already clicking off the page and now it's gone)
I added you!

:) my QA specialist. Nice catch. Yes, that homepage list adds name with spaces but the url lowercases and adds a dash, so tikal-dog. I'll look into how to fix that. And I think there is a way to see a list of who has added you, I'll have to do some code hunting. thanks for the catches.
I added you!
ok cool! What is your name on there? I'm not seeing you in the mini pics on the homepage :)
I haven't put a pic on yet, when I get off work I will be sure to add it.
my name is the same, kevinb421

RV -- is it still happening for you? HOME is working fine for me. I wonder if you clicked right as Paul tried something.
Paul -- looks like the minipics now use the usernumber and so all work (on the homepage). On my profile page in my friends list it uses the username, and there tikal has a dash and so works. Either way works... but if we could have a tip that tells who the user is as we mouse-over, that would make it perfect. I was using the username in the link to tell before, but if we go to usernumbers it's harder to tell.
I logged out and back in and seems to be okee dokee now. :)

awesome!!! it's kind of like mySpace but w/o all the B.S.
I like the tips that popup now Paul :)
sorry, the tips? not sure what I did to add that?
on the error RV, not sure it may be something with uploading photos, I'm noticing some of the larger photos are having problems with creating thumbnails and such. I'll have to figure that out, thanks for the info.
haha... so I said it would be nice to have info on what the picture we are looking at is if the link shows a user number instead of name. And a few minutes later they were there! I wish all my web design could be done by wanting :)
(I called the boxes that appear on mouse-over tips since that is the terminology used in Visual Studio - which often tries to take over my life)
I just finish my profile...that site is so cool
Only thing I tried to load a couple of pics but I can´t see them...maybe I am doing something wrong... :-(

sorry not sure what's going on with the images. first some didn't upload properly because they were too big, and now sometimes it gives off an error. trying to track it down.

I'm in. Seems to work fine for me. Thanks Paul.
There doesn't seem to be an easy way to send messages to other members without commenting on one of their posts... I guess that's sort of a question/comment/idea/thought all in one vague statement. Take it as you will.
I had a similar thought about how adding an instant message screen name option to the profile, or an email address option, could be good. Or the personal messages, but that is more intensive for the site to handle.

Ya. I was thinking about that last night. A bit of an oversight on my part. Built it to connect people, but forgot about the last mile so to speak, the one to one. I'll look into some possible options.
Cool... My main thought is, someone comments to your activity "great job, blah blah". Then you want to say, "thanks for the encouragement... etc.." But, maybe you don't want to post that as another comment. I definitely like the community aspect of it though... Great start, man! Thanks for everything you are doing for the endurance community.

o.k. gang, the web site tinkerer has been at it again. I initally tried to implement a bunch of new features to Trifuel but kept running into issues tying it to our current registration. So, after months of trial and error and redos, I finally have something new for you to check out.
It's http://endurable.us. I wanted to do a better job of connecting people locally and by events, so this is it. It's for anyone who likes to stay active through outdoor and endurance activities.
Some of the features:
- Your own page http://endurable.us/paul
- An easy 'Activities' form to replace the old wdydt thread we used to have.
- Your own blog
- Photo galleries
- Buddy lists
- Event listings. Still not many listed yet, but now event pages will have comments and lists of members attending (http://endurable.us/event/9)
More features in the works, but wanted to let it out of the bag so people can start using and see if they like it.
registeration is currently open, but I'm going to limit to a few hundred while I test it out and add some new things. If you want to be a tester and don't mind a few tweaks here and there along the way, then please signup and let me know what you think.
thanks.
