Need an opinion regarding bike protector
is that overkill?
No. If I ever have kids (Lord, I hope not....that would mean I'd have to get married), I'd imagine that they'd turn out pretty OK if I treat them half as well as I treat my bikes.

Not fast enough.
I've decided to do the saran wrap and Foam pipe insulation attached with tie wraps.
I've read a ton of bad reviews for the bug blockers. There were also posts that were saying that adding that extra wind force to the roof mount bikes also was a bad idea.

I hope you aren't planing on strapping your kids to the roof, and covering them in a protective bag....
Come on now....would you let one of these sit in your Porsche?

I'm getting a protective sheet for the roof, too. :D

Now that I have a nice road bike. Of course I'm concerned about keeping it nice.
I was looking at this company's products.

I was thinking of buying the water proof cover for the fork mount roof rack.
Should I also be thinking about the frame cover which is further down on that page? Or is that overkill?
I do take my bikes on trips of 10+ hours. Lots of Bugs and rain...
Thanks in advance
