IMLP...30 days...Who's in?
I'm ready! :)
I'll be there as a spectator. My friend won a trip for two to IMLP and I get to be the lucky travel companion! Looking forward to cheering on some TriFuelers!
AND of course you'll go down and sign up on Monday...Right?
(I'm smelling a trifuel get together!)

Friggin' ready Freddy, almost. Ask me after 5 consecutive days of biking. Check my blog for what I did this past week. Even *I* almost don't believe it. 2 more 20-hour weeks and that will be that.
I'll be there cheering you on and signing up for 2008! Rip it up TriFuelers!
I'll be there...provided Delta quits messing with my flight plans. Half asleep at my desk from running for 3 hours this morning...last big week of training!
27 days and counting. This will be my first IM but I will definitely be down there to sign up on Monday too! I love the training.. I know its going to be tough to taper..
Set goals...... but be here now. Enjoy the ride to the finish line.
This is where disclipine comes in. The only place you can get faster or build more endurance in the three weeks leading up to Ironman ...is on the couch. By next Monday or Tuesday...you should be done, letting the taper unfold as it will. You WILL be chomping at the bit and ready to climb walls by race morning...but that's the point.
Race week ,avoid the desire to bike the whole course or do half the run or even to swim the both laps of the swim...sure folks do it all the time...but how much better could their race days have been if they hadn't succumbed to the the little voices...
There is nothing you can do in the last three weeks leading to Ironman that will help you and a million things you can do to ruin it. Relax...patience. See ya there!

Yeah, I know. It'll feel really good to get out there. My coach said something really helpful before my first HIM "the race is already determined, now you just need to execute." The heavy training is done-now its time to let the benefit sink in! Will you be wearing a kilt? or the trifuel kit?
Set goals...... but be here now. Enjoy the ride to the finish line.
My coach will be there racing! He's looking for his 3rd trip to Kona.

Of course it's 'effing hard, it's IRONMAN!
Trifuel kit..however...if the temps are cool enough I'll pop on the Kilt for the second half of the run! It's a green plaid Irish kilt and looks really good with the red trifuel top.

Great! I'll be sure to say hi. If a woman wearing a Legal Seafood kit says hello-that's me! :)
Set goals...... but be here now. Enjoy the ride to the finish line.
