I am looking for some recommendations for a purchase of a 2006 Orbea Aletta bike. My main question is regarding the sizing of the bike. The used bike that I am looking at is a Medium with a 55 cm top tube. I'm 6'0'', 190 lbs. and am not sure if this bike is too small for me. I'm going to look at the bike tomorrow but want to do my homework on the sizing especially. This will be my first bike purchase and I want to do it right. I'm looking online to find bike fitting recommendations for Orbea bikes.

The asking price for the bike I am looking at is $1,400 (negotiable) and the specs are as follows. Any input as to whether or not this is a good value? Thanks so much in advance for any help you can provide.

This bike has only 900 miles on it. No mechanical problems, and I just got it back from the shop for the annual tune-up. I've ridden it in 7 time trials and 6 triathlons. The condition of the bike is basically like new, and I would like to get $1400, but the price is negotiable. Picture attached.

Here you can find measuring tools to know wich size you should be using.

But my advice would be to go to your LBS and get measured. You don´t need to tell them you are not buying there... ;)

Hyperactive Trifueler!!!! (I refuse to let the status go :p)

I actually ride that exact bike. Mine is a medium and I am 5'8" so it may be a little small for you. Take it to a LBS and see if they can size it for you.
