Has anyone done any of the races by Odyssey Adventure Racing (OAR)? Willing to give some feedback on them?

I was thinking of the doing the off-road half-extreme duathlon.

I'd love to hear feedback as well as a few look interesting to me, too. Haven't done any (yet) though.

That sounds like something I may have to put on the calendar for next year.

I did their HIM last year and they are a pretty good organization. The race seemed well structured for the most part and thought out. Of course they are mostly Adventure racing and I did a normal Tri but I would reccomend them. The guy that runs the place is a super cool dude he was out there on the course cheering people on and everything.

A training partner of mine did the Iron Off Road run by them a few years ago...He speaks very highly of them and their organization. He DNF'd unfortunately because of a time cutoff...The bike is wicked long I hear tell.

Yeah I'm definitely tempted by the off-road iron ;) Maybe someday. But since I see a mtn bike ride as equal to double the distance on the road... yes, long ride! :)
