I have been having trouble logging into the site the last few days and keep getting: "Unable to log into Trifuel.com because can't find the server Trifuel.com"
Anyone else with the same problem? Any advice from techno's?
I'm sort of having some withdrawl issues here!

hey. I run into the issue sometimes as well. I think it's due to the server change and the DNS not getting picked up properly by your local ISP. Or perhaps the old server is cached in your browser.

This one is really confusing me because soemtimes I just have to try a few times and it works. And the DNS propagtion should only take a couple days but for some reason it's taking a few a couple weeks.

If anyone else has any ideas how to resolve this please let me know.

And here I thought I was the only one with the problem, good to hear that others are having issues still. At home I have a 2% success rate of reachign the site on a daily basis but at work I'm pretty much at 100%.

2%? oh no. I didn't realize it's this bad. I've done traceroutes from all over and it always comes up. Try clearing your browsers cache and see if that helps.

I've got a request in to my host on ideas to resolve this. sorry about this.

Same here, I can almost never get on it at home anymore, but work it's fine. Coudln't get on last night but this morning it's fine at the office. Same internet provider for both home and office computers.

At work I was having a 2% or less rate as well... it seems to have cleared up Friday and today though. At home I had a 100% rate.

I cleared my cache on my home pc and made it to the site on the first try. Maybe that was pure luck, not sure. I'll keep trying and let you know...

Cool. Hopefully that's the issue. My host says the nameserver and DNS stuff looks fine, so I don't know... Let me know if you do run into issues on that home machine again.

I lied about the work one... I wasn't able to connect again after that log in -- and this is from the same computer at home.

Ugh! Hmm. I am stumped. My host looked at the DNS and Nameserver entries and says everything looks fine. Only thing I can think of now is that the local ISP's aren't clearing their cache and grabbing the new IP.

If any of you experiencing the issue know how to do a traceroute from your machine, please PM me the results and I'll forward on to my host for further investigation.

I never got it to connect again last night and I tried several times (8-10) and even tried clearing my cache again. Now this morning on the first try it I got connected.

You can try to flush your local DNS cache that "might" help. (click)Start -> (click) run -> (type) cmd -> (type) ipconfig /flushdns

sorry about this gang. more emails with host and still nothing on a solution. thought is there just may be some false dns zones out there and it'll just take time for them to filter out? I don't know.

Tribro,

I am still having this problem at home. My work computer is fine and both home and work use the same provider. At home I am can get on about once a week, if that. Couldn't get on at all Friday or Sunday (didn't try Saturday).

If you can tell me how to do the trace I can try it to see why this is happening so you can address it.

Problem continues for me...it appears to be ok in the mid hours of the day (10 till 2ish)...morning,or evening...nope. I've monkied with it from my Mac end..clearing cache etc. but still sporatic.
I've e-mailed a few other folks who frequent the site..they stopped visiting...this could be a killer or at least a maimer!

I'm still having sporadic problems as well. Occasionally it pops right up, other times I have to refresh screen once or twice. And sometimes it just won't work and I have to try again a few hours later. Not getting my Trifuel fix is rough!!!

ok, so my host found something that might be causing the issue. They fixed a DNS zone issue this morning so hopefully this was the problem and it'll now clear up. Give it a day or two to propogate and we'll see if that does it.

Funny you should say it was fixed this morning. I couldn't get on all weekend, then this morning suddenly I could. Hopefully the problem is solved.

Wasn't working at home again this morning. Worked fine at work. Will check it again at home tonight and see! Had been working at home last day or two until this morning though!
