By now, everybody is probably sick of me asking so much about bikes, but I finally narrowed it down to two bikes.

http://www.orbea.com/ingles/interior.php?tipo=1&familia=3&gama=6&modelo=20
for $1750

and

http://www.orbea.com/ingles/interior.php?tipo=1&familia=4&gama=11
(This one would be with Ultegra and a road bike handlebar and short aerobars, sicne I race according to ITU rules)
for $1,700

Here's my question. Should I go for the road bike, since I am a newbie and live in a somewhat mounanoius(sp?) area, or should I stick with the tri-bike (even tho it has stubby aerobars)?

Sorry to annoy you guys with my indecision, but it's kind of a big deal to me...

Get the Roadie. Tri gemetry with road bars isnt that great of a mix.

Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.

Yeah, in your case I'd probably be on the roadie as well.

Go with the Orbea Triton. You will be glad that you did.

Roadie!!!

Tri bike with road bars is not a good idea. I asked this once to the guys at my LBS and they said they wouldn´t do it even if I asked them to.

Hyperactive Trifueler!!!! (I refuse to let the status go :p)
