Congratulations fellow addict.
I've been using Amino acid supplements (from whole foods) for some time with great results. Aminos are the building blocks for proteins and unless you have a very well balanced diet, chances are you're missing one or two essential Aminos....and without all of 'em you can't make protein to repair what you're breaking down.
Also, log onto athlinks.com....you can track all the results from all of your races from one single location. Pretty cool, yo!
Greatness is only achieved by those who perpetually raise the expectations of themselves to the point where it ruins their life.

I come from a strong athletic background, but just ran my first race the San Diego Marathon. I am hooked. Now I have all these new neat races/tri's/runs that I have to get out of my system. I am training for the LA tri in Sept., then I plan to Run Vegas Marathon, then I begin training for a bike ride to San Francisco, and finally I plan on doing the Henderson Ironman relay. This is addicting!!!
My question is this....what supplements if any do you recommend for these endurance sports. What are you taking? Are they necessary? All I took for the marathon was a multi, Glutamine, and drank amino vital. I could really use some input on this subject.
Thanks
Daren
