I just finished the River City Triathlon in Logansport, IN. It isn't a big triathlon, only 200 or so competing. The swim was held in a quarry and was my favorite swim ever, regardless getting kicked in the face real bad. I was able to see the bottom of the lake for about 1/2 the time, I saw a large catfish and a sunken boat at one point. It was a great swim. The bike course was equally great. There were a lot of hills and very little traffic. I saw maybe three cars as best the whole time.

The run was a trail run, 3.3 mi., and it was good except that everyone that I beat on the bike and swim, passed me on the run. It was also frustrating that there were no mile markers for the run. Overall, it was a good triathlon, and I had a lot of fun competing. I got third place in my division and so did my younger sister.

No markers are the worst! My race this weekend was like that too.

Sounds like you did a great job though! Congratulations on placing :)
