Hey,

So I went on my second run where the tips of my toes when I come back in feel like they are almost burning. I'm using a pair of shoes that aren't that old and that I've never had this problem before with. It has happened both on the dreadmill and then today out on the road, it seemed to be worse on the treadmill. I don't notice it really tell I start my walk in, so I'm kinda confused. Also I notice it a bit more in my weaker foot (right foot). Any help would be great.

Do you ever get callouses there? Or are you now getting them? ;) I find that sometime the socks will cause the tip of a toe on my right foot to get a bit more sore. And I just checked and it seems to be getting a bit of a callous.

If you're sure it's not your shoes, too tight, it could just be friction. Try a thinner sock and or rub a little vasoline on your toes the next time you run, see if that helps.

The run I did yesterday did have some minor hills in it, but i kept the treadmill completely level. Thanks for all the responses so far, I will try and loosen up the laces a bit for my next run see if that helps.

That could be ... however, in my case I had one of my yankz laces loosen - so one shoe was too loose and I didn't realize it until after my long run and that beat up my toes pretty good.

You may be doing something weird with your stride too. Depending on where your foot strike is it may be driving your toes forward. I've had sock problems too though. Messes up my whole run.
