What do I wear?
A one piece trisuit is the way to go. Or maybe if you have trouble with sizes then go out and buy a two piece suit.
There are many different brands out there. I have heard good comments on 2XU, De Soto and Zoot.
Hyperactive Trifueler!!!! (I refuse to let the status go :p)
Well here are a couple of things to consider. Since your only doing a sprint you can probably get away with minimal or no padding for the biking, though that is a very personal preference. Likewise due to the temperature you may or may not want to wear a top, when I do sprint tris here in Az I usually don't even bother wearing a top. So with all of that you could just wear a pair of jammers or a speedo (seems a popular choice out here). Personally though I'd recommend a two peice trisuit. That way you can adjust to your comfort level and price (ala expensive shorts with a cheaper top). If I remember right Orca is much more of a European company and their clothing sizes reflect that so they run pretty small in comparison to the american companies, so they might fit you a bit better. If it's not Orca then its one of the big tri clothing companies, I was trying on wetsuits and couldn't even squeeze into that company's XXL suit, and i'm currently in a small 2XU suit soo. Pockets in a sprint distance aren't very important so keep that in mind when looking around (again this all very much based on opinion/preferences). My personal choice for sprint distances would be this since I need all the help I can get in the water but am relatively strong on the bike and run. Pretty much just find whats comfortable and works for you. Hope this helps and wasn't just me rambling like a total idiot =p

Base 1 (Week 2, 16.5hrs)
Check out my blog!
Definitely try to find something you can wear for the entire race. Not having to pull a short or jersey on your wet body is key in transitions. You'll save yourself time and frustration.

I've been training for my first sprint triathlon, and I'm looking for some advice on tri apparel. The temps stay quite warm, (i'm from Alabama) so I know I don't need a wetsuit. But i'm looking for something I can wear throughout the entire race. I am a 5'0 guy, so sizes sometimes get in the way. Any advice?
